Dr Francis M. Simusika

Dr Simusika is a qualified paediatric and child health specialist with previous experience as a senior medical officer in the neonatal intensive care unit at the University Teaching Hospital Women & Newborn unit, as well as a senior registrar in the paediatric hematology unit at Children’s Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia for five years.

In addition to medical work, Dr Simusika has been involved in advocacy efforts as the Treasurer of the Zambia Medical Association and as a board member for Special Olympics Zambia, Unity Empowerment, and Toy Lab Zambia.

Dr Simusika is passionate about neonatal and adolescent health as well as advocacy.
